Sweet Satisfaction with Becca Dale

perf5.000x8.000.inddIt all started with a bite of cheesecake…

The Sweet Series was born of food lust with Marc and Darcy in Sweet Temptation and built from there. When Darcy’s grandfather spoke of falling instantly for his wife, it brought up the question of what would happen if such a thing was inherent in one’s family makeup. For some it would be a blessing, for others a curse. For Darcy it was a blessing because it enabled her to see past her insecurities and open her heart to the man who wanted to love her. For her brother Gavin it was a curse because he didn’t believe in love let alone love at first site. For their cousin Connor it is both — a blessing because he can truly love his best friend and can say without doubt he always will and a curse because he can’t stop it even when she pushes him away.

For me, I fell in love with my husband the first time he climbed a pole in front of me – okay, maybe that was lust but it certainly got my attention. Much like Gavin, I fought my feelings because Mr. Dale reminded me far too much of my father, but when true love bites, it is impossible to walk away. So how about you? Is love at first sight real or just this romance writer’s fantasy?
