The Winter Spanks Bloghop!

winter_spanks_sexy1Saturday SpanksBrought to you by Spanking Romance Reviews & The Saturday Spankings Blog!

Those of you who know me know I live in SoCal where we are not having nearly the winter fun most of you are in your chilly regions. But I do spend as much time as I can in the High Sierras and there’s nothing like a little fantasy life. Who doesn’t like a cozy cabin on a snowy mountainside, a roaring fire, and a sexy, smoldering companion to warm up the day. And if a girl is being a little naughty…well, here’s what might have happened to a friend of mine.

Elise raced up the walkway, slipping and sliding on the snowy pavers. She clutched her skis. After all, she’d promised to job hunt today, and had planned get home early enough to make a nice dinner. Ethan’s boss had been making noises about business setbacks and while her boyfriend didn’t mind supporting them both, while Elise kept the home fires burning, he had become concerned about what might happen if the long long winter kept the construction business from kicking in as it should.

Not unreasonable…right? And she had intended to search for work, but Jenny called, the slopes called, and she had completely screwed up. One hour turned to two, then afternoon shadows lengthened and no time remained. Her heart sank as she yanked the door open to find a fire blazing in the hearth.

“Elise? How did you do today?” Ethan rose from his seat by the fire. “Why are you dressed like that?” His disapproval sent a shiver of dismay across her shoulders. She’d been irresponsible, but, while she wouldn’t have offered the information if not asked, neither would she lie. Of course, her tight pants and fitted jacked, the skis in her hand, answered for her anyway. “Oh, Elise.”

His dark hair lay across his forehead, emphasizing the paleness of his skin at this season. When the days warmed, he’d tan to a golden brown while supervising the crew building new condos, but now his dark eyes stood out in his face, his lips, set in a thin line, a slash of warm color. Propping the skis carefully against the wall by the door, Elise stood straight and approached.

“I went skiing.”

“No kidding.” Ethan sank into the armchair where he’d cuddled her the night before, explaining his concerns about household finances and she’d listened…and intended to do the right thing, but then she got stupid. “You know what to do.”

They had plenty of money. He knew it. She knew it. Ethan was a fabulous money manager and their savings would carry them for at least a few years, but he didn’t like to take chances. Elise folded herself over his knees, lifting her belly when he pulled her tight ski pants down, leaving just her cotton panties, the ones he preferred. Before she could draw a breath, he lifted his hand and slapped once, twice on each cheek, then a sharp flurry of slaps. And they hurt. Not like the affectionate spankings she loved. And he hadn’t kept to their formula, hadn’t discussed things first, asked her why he needed to correct her behavior. Elise began to be a little afraid. Was he angry? Of course he was, but how angry? She’d never been so irresponsible before, never….

Then his hand stilled, his palm resting on the heat of her backside.

“Ethan I’m so sorry.”

“I don’t know that you are. Didn’t I make my feelings clear? My concerns?

He had, but with all that money in the bank… “Is it such a rush that I get a job?” With her head hanging down it was hard to have a solid conversation, which was why they usually had them before the spanking, but she didn’t want to upset him further. Not for fear of the spanking…

“We have our whole life together to consider, Elise. Not just a year or two or three. And if we start running through out savings, what will happen? How can we plan?”

Dammit. Ethan was a planner, it was one of the things the flighty Elise loved about him. And, except in the most unusual circumstances, she was happy to let him do it. But how dependent had she become on him?

“I have asked you before to consider what you would like to do. If anything happened to me, how would you support yourself? At least, well?”

“Ethan,” she struggled to sit up but he rested a hand across her back and held her in place. “Are you well?” If anything happened to him, she didn’t know what she’d do. Not because of the money. She’d supported herself before she met him, albeit it had been a few years, but she could do it again.

“I’m fine, but until construction gets going strong again, I would just feel better if you got a job. Then, I want you to consider picking up your studies again. You’re only a year from your degree.”

And she’d been lazy, enjoying taking care of the house and him and skiing…skiing nearly every day while he worked and worried about their future. Tears streamed down her face. The spanking began again in earnest and she welcomed it. By the time he slowed and stopped and brought her up to cuddle on his lap, she knew it would be okay. He wouldn’t have corrected her behavior if he didn’t love her and if this is what it took to show how far off track she’d gotten from her own goals and contributing more to their life, their future together, it was fine. Sometimes it took a really warm bottom to remind her of her direction.

And when Ethan’s warm lips, no longer set in a thin line, descended on hers, well-being washed away all her tears, her fears and she opened herself to the lovemaking that was sure to follow. He lowered her to the sheepskin rug in front of the fire and followed her to the floor. Warm weather was great for business, and she’d go find work tomorrow…but winter lovemaking, and winter spankings, held a charm of their own.

  33. Nice story, -very realistic – it’s easy to let time run away, and responsibilities rest on the back burner.
Favourite winter fun, – active snowball fights on the rare occasion we get snow, or a walk in the forest park on a bright frosty day.
Passive for the horrible rainy weather we get here, sat infront of the fire, with a book or a board game.

I don’t know that I have a favorite winter activity. I used to live in the mountains and enjoyed building snowmen and skiing sometimes, but disliked the cold.

  45. Let’s be honest here…. my favorite winter fun would have to be sitting on the beach on some tropical island in which children didn’t exist, sipping on an excessively girly drink complete with a pineapple wedge and an umbrella. Here in the real world, inside in front of a fire or under a snuggly blanket.

  46. My favorite winter fun was when i was little. My mom woke my siblings and i up on the first snow fall. Its was beautiful outside. We went out, played in it, came in, snuggled up with some hot coco and a fun movie. We crashed in her bed and they stayed home from school the next day and went out for lunch. It was amazing! Definitely my favorite moment! Thank you!
